Doors Movie Review
Well, I have to say I was tempted to watch a 2021 sci-fi film with a movie cover / poster. It seemed interesting, and I will admit that reading the captions of the film is what made me want to watch it.
And I just had to put it back and leave it alone. Wow, this movie was a big hit and was directed by directors Saman Kesh, Jeff Desom and Dugan O'Neal.
The story was a pile of rubbish. I have to admit that I have never really grasped what this movie was about, other than the unusual portals from around the world. But after that, the film didn’t make sense, and it completely failed to give me any level of entertainment. And believe me, it was a great struggle to stay through the hardships known as the "Doors".
This 2021 sci-fi movie featured Chris White, Saman Kesh, Jeff Desom and Ed Hobbs as writers, and it amazes me that four writers in total could avoid delivering something exciting and satisfying.
I think the characters in "Doors" were enough, but it was hard to focus on the actors and actors in the movie, as I was really struggling to find a small piece of interest in the discarded story line. I didn't know anyone on the cast, which is usually a good thing and something I enjoy, but in "Doors" I just couldn't communicate with any of the characters, and I didn't make any kind of interest or relationship with any of them, just as I didn't care. They were not focused on the deeper story, as there is nothing logical here, why bother?
I usually do not like sci-fi movies very much, and something like the 2021 movie "Doors" is the reason why I often skip all the sci-fi movies I come across.
Now, I'm sure there are audiences out there for a movie like "Doors". I, however, was not part of the audience to which I was directed.
I rate "Doors" a little, but generously, two out of ten stars. This was a waste of time.
