Blood Born Movie Review
Stumbled by the 2021 horror film "Blood Born" from author and director Reed Shusterman, I decided to sit down and watch it, simply because I had never seen it, and because it was a horror film.
The movie captions sound interesting enough, and I have to admit that I like the concept of the story and the text here.
However, the film had no punch and impact. Sure, the movie was watched, but it was not the only horrible movie that managed to make a splash in the ocean of horror movies. And I believe, that "Blood Born" film that I may have forgotten will come next week.
The flow of the story line was enough, but very little happened during the entire film season to keep me happy enough. Sure, I sat through the whole movie, but I was a little excited about what was happening in the mirror. And I was missing out on that special ingredient to push the movie over and beyond the limits of mediocrity.
The simulation in "Blood Born" was sufficient, considering the limitations of the script and the story. I didn’t know anyone on the cast list, and that’s something I enjoy. And that worked well for harvesting a movie, except that the movie did not rise above mediocrity.
Sure, "Blood Born" can be watched once, but it is doubtful that you will ever see it again. I know I will not do that.
The ending of the movie was very similar, very predictable and very controversial. It made me feel like writer and director Reed Shusterman ended up slapping me in the face with a cold, dead fish after I had lived through this ordeal.
My "Blood Born" rating is less than four in ten stars. It was watched, yes, but it just fell down and it couldn't take me to ride something exciting.
