Armageddon Tales Movie Review
... I think a lot of friends of filmmakers have been tasked with coming up with a short film - four of them, and all of them leading to a big body; survival in the apocalyptic world. Each of these short films is clearly recorded on a short budget.
Sadly, I'm not sure who was responsible for that short (worst, I would like to call "winner") crazy stuff, so I'll comment on all of them the way they are played, rate and review individually, and the score will be the rating of this article.
# 1: This is an excellent shot with complete cinematography and excellent directing. All camera pictures and color choices were special. Points were complete, as well as visuals and locations. The players (whom I have never seen or heard of) were convincing and acting as professionals. The story, as basic and simple as it was, keeps you in a state of skepticism. "Monster (no spoiler generalization)" was more terrifying and scary than any other shorts - no second place nearby. Of course, anyone who came up with this winning gemstone, needed to break the contract and submit his shortcomings for consideration of prizes. Nothing to criticize, and nothing I can suggest to be done better. Won and finished 10/10
# 2 and # 3: The second and third shorts were amateurs and misused and directed. They continued with very little doubt and horrible conversation. The screenshot reminded me of a high school drama project project ... bad. I did not really understand what the little girl was saying. Any S / VFX was crippled, like the sounds of a children's toy. “Beasts” were a joke. This was really a drag, and when a crippled dialogue was unbearable, I was pretty good with FFWD all Short. The third one looked like a second rescue attempt, but it was a little better than the first - only because it had an extra article in it. Imitation was worse than using the same two tracks. So # 3 is 2/10, and # 4 is 3/10.
# 4: The fourth was different from the previous three, it had no "monsters" but had some controversial story about the extreme play of both Jeremy Dash as a quiet madman, and Manni L. Perez as a constant "why angry" character. It feels like it is being dragged out, it has no purpose and it is connected with a big building and technical issues. The visuals and sets seemed to come out of someone's garage. That felt like a high school drama class project, probably because of having some B-level actors - the only one visible in all four shorts. However, it is 5/10 generous.
Sooo, the average of all four points is 20/40, or 5/10. If you want happiness, just look at the first one. If you are really lonely, skip # 2 and # 3 and try # 4
