Raya and the Last Dragon Movie Review

I don't know if I was interested in seeing this Disney movie, but then I remembered seeing its trailer months before the closure, it looked like it was going to be fun. Basically, over five centuries ago, the prosperous ancient land of Kumandra was destroyed by the Druun, evil spirits who invaded and terrified the people of the land and the dragon. According to legend, the last dragon known as the Stone passed his magic to the gemstone and chased away the Druun, reviving the people of Kumandra who had turned to stone, but the dragons disappeared. The orb power struggle divided the people of Kumandra into tribes, based on their placement near the great, dragon-shaped river: Fang, Heart, Spine, Talon, and tail. 500 years later, Raya (Kelly Marie Tran), daughter of the tribal leader Chief Benja (Lost Daniel Dae Kim) was training to become a treasurer, and she is happy when her father says she is ready. Chief Benja believes that the former Kumandra tribes can once again unite and decides to hold a party for the leaders of all five tribes. During the party, Raya becomes a friend of King Virana's (Sandra Oh) daughter of the Fang tribe, young Namaari (Jona Xiao), who gives Raya a dragon pendant as a gift. Relying on her, Raya shows Naamaari the location of a gem. But Namaari betrays Raya, revealing that she is trying to help Fang to steal the gem. Benja and the other tribes are informed of this and arrive at the scene and start fighting for the treasure. During the scratch, the orb is shattered into pieces, reviving Druun. Each tribe steals a piece of orb and runs away as the Druun return and harass Heart and its people. Chief Benja is wounded, knowing that Druun's weakness is water; he gives Raya his piece of orb and throws him into the river before he is attacked and turns into rocks. Six years later, Raya grew up to be a young woman, and rode behind her best friend and horseman Tuk Tuk (Alan Tudyk) (a mixture of armadillo and pill bug). He has been traversing the Kumandra lands and desert to find the Stomach, the last dragon, to help him regain lost orb pieces. After reaching the last river on the map, you find a shipwreck at Tail. Raya counts the spell to call out the dragon and is surprised when Stisu the dragon (Awkwafina) appears. But Tisu admits that he did not create the orb, but only used it for his siblings and could gain the strength of his siblings when he touched its pieces. Meanwhile, the elderly and hostile Namaari (Gemma Chan) has been traversing Kumandra and her tribal people following Raya's stolen image of the abdomen. Raya and Sisu are able to return the second piece to the locked Tail temple and the body of its leader. This orb fragment gives the abdomen the ability to transform, and it can transform into a human. Raya and Namaari met again for a while and argued before Raya and Sisu fled the temple. They escaped from the boat of a young merchant Boun (Izaac Wang), who lost his family because of Druun. Boun meets friendly, but Raya does not trust her completely, and insists that abdomen remain in human form. The team arrives at Talon to find the third precious piece, where Raya meets "con baby" Noi (Thalia Tran) and her three monkey-like friends, Ongis, who take her after Druun offended his mother. After the chase, Raya hires Noi and Ongis while Tisu meets Talon's wife Dang Hu (Lucille Soong), who gives Druun some pieces of orb. Raya rescues the abdomen and restores the third piece, giving the abdomen the ability to spit out the mist and use it to escape. The group then arrives in Spain, where they meet the fearsome warrior Tong (Benedict Wong), the only survivor of that village. Namaari arrives and Raya grabs her to escape the others. Before Naamaari defeats him, Stomach turns into a dragon and saves Raya. His companions, realizing that the stomach is a dragon, agree to help Raya, and Tong gives Spine a precious piece, which gives belly control over the rain. As the group approaches Fang, Tisu suggests joining Namaari instead of stealing the last piece. When Raya refused, Stomach returned the remnants of the Heart. He shows her the remains of her siblings, Pangu, Jagan, Pranee, and Amba, who have turned to stone; he says the trust of his siblings is what gave him the strength to save Kumandra. Raya resigns and decides to give Namaari a dragon pendant as a peace offering. Raya and Sisu secretly meet Naamaari, who is sad about what to do; he wants to save Fang's dignity, but he also wants to help defeat Druun. Seeing the pieces of the orb, he threatens to shoot himself with a crossbow. Sisu tries to silence Namaari but is shot dead when Raya sharpens his sword over Namaari's bow. With the death of the last dragon, water is then pumped out of all the surrounding lakes, oceans and rivers, and Fang is drowned by Druun. Raya and Namaari fought fiercely while Raya's friends rescued the Fang people using the remaining power of fragments of precious stone. Raya defeated Namaari and prepared to kill her, but seeing that she was mourning her mother who had turned to stone, and realizing that Stomach's death was her fault because of her inability to trust others, she stopped. Raya and Namaari tried to help the group instead. As Druun walks around Raya's group, Raya remembers how trust allowed the Stomach to save the world earlier and urges others to come together and assemble a gem. One by one, the group assembles an orb before allowing themselves to be taken by the Druun and turned into stones. Finally, Raya gives Namaari her piece of orb almost finished, to show her faith, and to allow herself to be blown away. Namaari finishes assembling a gemstone before Druun angers her. The last remnant of power in reunification and everyone trust causes an explosion to defeat Druun, and everyone, including the dragons, is revived. The dragons rejuvenate the Stomach while everyone reunites with their lost loved ones, including Raya and her father. The dragons and the tribes gather in the Heart to celebrate and finally unite like Kumandra. He also plays Lucille Soong as Dang Hu, Dichen Lachman as General Atitaya / Spine Warrior, and Patti Harrison as Tail Chief. Tran is as good as the title character of the title, but Awkwafina often steals the program with his fast-paced and fast-paced personality. The cartoons are beautiful, the characters are amazing, the story set in an ancient world with dragons and other strange creatures and the background is amazingly clever and fascinating, the myths and fables are well integrated, often entertaining and humorous, and James Newton Howard points are exciting, excellent computer action adventure moving. Very good!
