Viewed on iQiyi where this was recently renamed Mojin (as a poster). This movie is one of 4 books sold by Wanda by the author, but it is clear that the scriptwriter has not read the source content well as this translation has some similarities in it compared to previous series and movies. Here, Shirley (played badly by Yu Xin Yan) is pregnant with Hu Ba Yi and both are worried that their curse will be passed on to their child. So they returned to China at the behest of Professor Sun, to raid the tomb of King Wu Yang in Wu Gorge in the hope of receiving a Herd of Resurrection.
There are good, small moments, like the one where Hu Ba Yi tells Shirley what she will give for their baby, and there are decent jokes and good role models for Professor Sun. Unfortunately all of this has been marred by the character's inability to act Shirley, she may be the worst image of Shirley in all of the series and movies I've seen so far. CGI is ridiculous, and even video games have better results than ever before.
All in all I felt like this could have been better done with good budget and imitation. I am sure that better practice or a fresh start will come soon.
