Afterlife of the Party Review
I really enjoyed this movie. The acting was good quality and the characters were attractive. It was incomplete and some scenes could not have been better, but the story is still moving. I once laughed a little and cried.
Here is the division. Cassie remains the life of the party. He goes out to a club / bar with his best friend, Lisa, one night. Cassie then decides to go to a party, and the upset Lisa goes home. The next morning, Cassie returns to her house and wakes up with a hangover. There are many ways he could have died before this. I kept wondering when this would happen. It was really hard but funny how it went down. Look to find out.
However, Cassie arrives at the waiting area between Upper (Heaven) and Down (hell). He meets his caseworker Angel who gives him a list of people who need help, so that he can go to the top. Cassie has only one birthday left to complete her work. He has several solid beginnings, but eventually he begins to find his way. Sometimes his help is disruptive, but it all works in the end.
I read a few more reviews and have never seen anyone talk about her clothes. While Cassie was still alive, her fashion was an important part of her identity. This did not change just because he died. As an Angel, Cassie was able to have different possessions every day. What I liked was that at first, her clothes were as bright and elegant as when she was alive. But day after day, her clothes became clear and quiet. Like you became part of the domain in the end, instead of trying to stand out. I think this is because in the beginning, Cassie's main goal was to get to the Heights. How will helping those on his list benefit him? But as he helped his friends and family, his priorities changed. Helping them live their lives without him became his new goal. He finally put others before him and his clothes reflected his change of heart.
