Martyrs Lane Review
A little girl becomes a little girl who keeps her mother mysterious, in order to resurrect the past ...
A supernatural myth that reaches to the mysterium from a few religious sects, while playing the mystery of the silent tomb. The performance of the main character is very good, and the two young girls mix the beauty and intensity of their encounter well. The story is melancholy, which is reflected in some interesting music, so the pace is slower despite the intricate planning.
Cinematography was fun from time to time, one on top of a pan that introduced a downward spiral - the one that seemed set for real panic but came out. A little bit of a jump jump should have been dialed, as adrenalin helps with this type of story.
A biblical relationship that gives the names of girls taken from husband-wife to mother-daughter; the body of the buried remains is carried by the history of the expelled monks; and the boundary of life and death rests with the theme of the Latin hymn. But in all the well-recognized religious references, the most effective metaphor is the mirror world, which is well emphasized in the post-climax decision; and the driver of the building is a series of macabre games played by girls.
For me, there were a few major problems. The story was based on the mystery of an incident that was often told to a child of that age - after all he had passed away. And there seemed to be a few moments of delusion to escalate the uncertainty, which added to the dissatisfaction as this was the only thing that gave my dad an amazing purpose. Second, the exposure stemmed from speech exposure and flashback, which does not make for a good movie time. In the end, the climax came with a religious upheaval that had not been resolved.
Overall: Elegant elegance of supernatural powers was well produced, but the text probably required one trip using a shredder.
