Jurassic Shark 2 Review
Of course, with the 2012 film "Jurassic Shark" which is a bad film, but within the scope of what can be considered unseen, then I chose to sit down and watch the sequel "Jurassic Shark 2: Aquapocalypse" which aired here in 2021, 9 years after the first film.
Needless to say, I did not have much hope or anticipation for this film from author Aaron Drake and director Mark Polonia. But I chose to sit down and wet my feet.
But I have to admit that the cover / poster of the movie was really interesting, and it really helped me to be able to watch a movie. The title of the movie, however, was something else, for it made a lot of bells ring.
And let’s just get into it, right? "Jurassic Shark 2: Aquapocalypse" is bad. It is incredibly bad. And no, it is not the kind of shark movie that is so bad that it is fun and exciting to watch. No, the "Jurassic Shark 2: Aquapocalypse" was old good and bad to watch.
The story is familiar, even a shark film that eats men. Of course, it was not as easy as it could have been. It can no longer be considered as predictable as possible.
This is a shark film, it just needs to have the right shark, the right effects, the credible attacks on the film characters, and what you don't have. Does "Jurassic Shark 2: Aquapocalypse" have that? No. Any of you? No. Nothing even? No.
Special effects on "Jurassic Shark 2: Aquapocalypse" were ridiculous. It was as if the special effects team did not bother to try to achieve anything. The shark looks incredibly ugly, so it is cleverly computer-generated, and it seems that something from the early 1990's computer games did not cut here. Visible and special effects were probably not present in "Jurassic Shark 2: Aquapocalypse". So you are not on the list of many special effects here. Not even far away. You don't even sell yourself a real shark in one place where this shark cruelty comes from.
The simulation in "Jurassic Shark 2: Aquapocalypse" was as woody and solid as possible. It was as if the actors also did not buy the film even for seconds. And, of course, the fact that the movie was made with horrible conversations and characters that a young child could have put together, did not help to advance the film at all.
"Jurassic Shark 2: Aquapocalypse" is the highest rival of the worst shark film ever made. I hope so. Too bad at all levels.
My rating of "Jurassic Shark 2: Aquapocalypse" rests on one in ten stars. This is not a movie I would recommend if you spend your time, money or effort on it. Some of us are upset about this, so it is not necessary. And yes, I suffered to the end.
