 Danger in the Spotlight Review

"Everything will be fine". The Lifetime Network never goes that way. That is similar to saying that the Leaning Tower of Pisa is not dependent. Natch.

Anyway, Danger In Light is my latest post. A gonzo film is made with a gonzo finish (and that means a lot for some long-lasting cable effort). What’s on the screen has great promise until “Danger” pulls out 180 “WTF” just for that. Even worse.

So OK, Danger In Light for the most part is a thrilling All Time adventure that is often well-constructed. It has a real basis for recovering a hit-and-run drunk that leaves a famous ballet dancer paralyzed (so you think).

Actress Jessica Morris (like Martha) said she was an alcoholic and her presence on screen was appealing. I mean Morris is a kid, he lives a whole life, and he’s beautiful, he’s very good. But portraying him as a kind of false villain is ultimately bizarre. It translates to "Danger" kind of icky and a little lost.

Danger in Light leads you down a path that you almost know where things are heading. Thanks to its awesome film, its many flashbacks, its red herring, and its solid Tomas Peire music, the film still looks natural. However, that conclusion lacks credibility and soundness of mind. I think pigs really fly (ugh).

I mean you have to believe that someone can forgive someone for trying to kill them in order to get their daughter back to the stock fight. You will also need to believe that the person can kill and help dispose of the corpse for the same reason. Lifetime network, I give you credit for getting the amount of shock and thought out of the box on this. But even M. Night Shyamalan has his limitations. An obscure and present "danger".
