 Dune Review

"Dune" is a brand new American film of 2021 recently released and I realized that people really like it, so I became curious and decided to check it out for myself. The longest film in less than 2.5 hours and the director is Denis Villeneuve, probably one of the most influential filmmakers at the moment and probably the first Canadian. He is one of the writers and the writing staff includes the Oscar winner. You can check the words there yourself. Instead I will expand on the characters. Villeneuve's administration has resulted in many bulls being part of the project. The main character here is Timothée Chalamet, a superstar, but I have to say that I am not really his biggest fan. This is problematic as he is in the film from start to finish, but fortunately, the supporting characters include more than a few of my favorite characters. These will be Oscar Isaac, Josh Brolin and Javier Bardem. For Brolin and Bardem, it sounded like a reunion from No World for Older Men, especially during one short period of time when they were at odds. And as we have already talked about Coen Bros movies, Isaac Inside by Llewyn Davis should be mentioned for sure. So you will find a few actors here who have worked with the duo of the most famous brothers who made films in the past. Brolin is featured in the first part of the film, but then disappears altogether. Isaac also has more screen time in advance. Bardem has a short episode where his character is introduced, but he appears in the last 30 minutes as well. I personally thought he would never appear in this film again, but played a major role in the second movie. Yes, there is a series of realities. This is already clear when the film starts here as we see the "first part" or something and the way it ends makes it clear that this is not the case.

As for the other actors, Rebecca Ferguson almost led, which was fine. Zendaya still has not bought the hype and is still quite late. Momoa is on the right side, while Skarsgard and Bautista are on the enemy side. The latter is making a career now if you look at everything he was, even if it always supports the parts. The value of his recognition is probably helpful too. Oh yes, Charlotte Rampling also has a memorable experience here. I'll get to him later. Yes, people will immediately think of David Lynch Dune's film decades ago. I'm not going to talk about the similarities or differences now because I haven't seen it. Let’s focus on this here instead of an independent perspective. It is enough to elaborate on it. I still have to say that I have a problem seeing Chalamet as some kind of hero or chosen character. I don't think you have the means to pull it off. Yeah Al that sounds pretty crap to me, Looks like Al that sounds pretty crap to me, Looks like Al that sounds pretty crap to me, Looks like Al that sounds pretty crap to me, Looks like Al that sounds pretty crap to me. mother of the desert and she knows very well that her things and uniforms work because such a natural or whatever she finally says her way through the desert, hard to believe. And how he definitely wins the battle against this guy at the end who challenges him. And he has to kill in this process, which also shows us what kind of person he is as he has never killed anyone before.

Death is an important factor here. Yet I have to say that to see that everyone is righteous, whether it be Isaac's character, or Momoa's, or even the overseer, comes out in a heroic way that harms the enemy became more and more repeated. There were some issues I was dealing with here regarding the plot. Check out the view of Chalamet character playing a real hero. It is basically the future. However, his countrymen (Rampling's character) were ready to kill him immediately with a poisoned needle when he pulled his hand out of the box, causing great pain. Although his dreams and predictions linked to the character of Zendaya were also not new or inspired by the way they are set out here. I would go on to say that for example the introduction felt very long and this film could (or should have been) be half an hour short maybe. I can't say anything bad about it is the way bad people attack. If they are going to download the character of Isaac and others, it is really amazing and this is where the film is at the highest level and it is a thrilling adventure. In the middle of the film. Unfortunately, once this is over and the bad guys have won by now, it gets weaker and here and there it slows down a bit and there is a certain length. One thing to note is that this film is never intended for the purpose of comedy. How you could see more in another Bautista fantasy / sci-fi film. There was one time when Momoa's character talked about the Chalamet character's tissues that had little comedy space and maybe one or two included as the film progressed, but yes this is not a movie to choose from for light or something. It takes them very seriously. Does it have a right? I'm not sure.

Of course, there is nothing wrong with sets, cinematography, costumes and all the other visual / auditory production fields, but this is the best that is now provided with a film of this feature, though you probably shouldn’t see it as a given. With the likes of Zimmer, Roberts and West in charge, however, have at least as many skills available in "small" departments as they do in front of the camera. If not. But back to the action itself: With visual effects, this is a film you would like to watch in the theater than at home on a small screen. Unless you have a home theater anyway. Oh yes, another moment that will make you smile is the way Isaac's character tries to make the angry character of Brolin smile early. The latter reminds me a little about the man Brolin played with in Sicario. Anyway, I think we’ll see more of Brolin’s character in the following here. As for Villeneuve, I must say that I loved his former possessions as a prisoner, but his recent capture of Blade Runner did me no harm. In terms of quality, the film here is in the middle. It’s not a revelation or anything and I think the reception is pretty good (I even saw people consider Chalamet for an Oscar nomination, like come on!), But it’s worth seeing if you like the genre and some of the cast I. Let’s say. It should not be seen in any definition yet. It seems that Villeneuve really enjoyed giving us his opinion on some of the films considered as classic. Of course it would be very bad here, but I hope for whatever he does in the future, and after that
