Escape Room 2 Review
The original film was very influential, it was almost inevitable that another poem would follow, and I was curious to see what would happen next, directed by Adam Robitel (Insidious: The Last Key). In fact, Zoey Davis (Taylor Russell) and Ben Miller (Logan Miller) are recovering after surviving the deadly escape rooms set up by Minos Corporation. Zoey received links to the organization's New York City-based organization at the Minos logo, but for fear of flying, she convinced Ben to drive there. Finding a building, it doesn't work, and someone walks in and steals Zoey's necklace. He and Ben chased after the thief, got into the subway car, and couldn't catch him. Immediately, the doors were locked, and the car separated from the train and headed for the remote station. Zoey and Ben were detained along with four other passengers, Rachel Ellis (Holland Roden), Brianna Collier (Indya Moore), Nathan (Thomas Cocquerel), and Theo (Carlito Olivero). Zoey and Ben learn that some can survive in Minos' escape rooms. It turned out that they were in the escape room, and they thought they were part of the Champions League. The train becomes electric, and they have to collect tokens for the subway to get out as electrocution grows. Theo is killed while the others manage to escape. As the group rested, Nathan revealed that his escape room was a priest, Brianna's group were all promoters, and Rachel's group included people who had no physical pain. Survivors enter the next room, a bank with a slightly closed enclosure and a dangerous laser safety system. Clarifying the intricate path of falling and avoiding lasers, Nathan suffers from a critical situation of faith and faints, opening the lasers. The team manages to find a route and run with Nathan before the laser covers the entire room. While in the room, Zoey noticed common clues to a person named Sonya, but was confused that the escape rooms had no obvious contact with the group. The next room is a sandy beach, a lighthouse, and other references to Sonya. As the team searches for clues and tries to solve the mystery, they discover that the sea is covered with wet sand. Rachel is swallowed up by the wet sand, and Nathan sacrifices to save her, but she dies. While Brianna opens the intended exit to the room, Zoey finds another exit from the exit room. An argument breaks out between the parties; Rachel and Ben accompany Zoey, while Rachel is forced to flee by the exit she finds. Ben sinks under the wet sand trying to get out and appears dead. Zoey and Rachel yelled at the others and vowed to bring Minos down. They came out through the hole and appeared to be out of town. But they soon realized that they were still in the game when they met the shocked Brianna. The counting display decreases, and each time it is finished, acid rain is sprayed on the room from time to time. The group finds a paradox in the room and opens the taxi to escape, but the door is locked, leaving Rachel and Brianna outside. Zoey falls into the next room while Rachel and Brianna are overcome by rain. The next room is the baby's bedroom with Sonya's diary. Zoey realizes that the rooms are based on the days Sonya had with her mother, revealed to be Amanda Harper (of True Blood's Deborah Ann Woll). Amanda emerges, surviving her fall from her encounter with Zoey and Ben in the escape room. He explains that he was forced to make Minos rooms after kidnapping his daughter and persuaded Zoey to become Minos' next puzzle maker. Ben reappears, trapped in a cage that begins to fill with water quickly. When Zoey rejected Minos' demands, she and Amanda worked together to free Ben. They extinguished the fire in the escape room and managed to escape, fleeing the area. The three reported their findings to the police, who took the bodies of Rachel, Brianna, Nathan and Theo; stories about Minos go public. An FBI agent assures Zoey that Minos will be tracked down. Full of confidence, Zoey decides to take a plane home with Ben. Riding on, Zoey realizes that the plane is another flight room built by Minos. The invisible Gamemaster laughs at them by falling into their trap as the plane starts to fall and the sleeping gas fills the cabinet. She also starred Lucy Newman-Williams as a Therapist and Scott Coker as an FBI Agent. Russell, Miller, Woll and others do well, the opening flashback serves as a useful reminder, the chaos of the most advanced escape rooms, with equally deadly traps, the bank location is probably the most memorable, there are small ones. times that might irritate you (how did Amada survive the fall?), but the mysterious feature continues to keep you connected enough, something exciting and scary. Worth to watch!
