Journalist student Sixto (Sean De Guzman) found out that the woman, who had been dreaming of many of hers, was one of the "end" winners of the online game, and she did not hesitate to bet on him. He won the bet, but because of his gambling mistake, he did not realize he was playing for another woman named Nanette (AJ Raval). After a series of sexual incidents, Sixto becomes Nanette's addict and promises to remove her from the group that rejected her as the ultimate online prize.
He played the game of AJ Raval and Sean De Guzman on TAYA. Part of them is my favorite in this film which shows the heart and essence of the film. We cannot deny the fact that these two have chemistry and are both promising actors to watch. Their episode seems relevant and real to me. Taya is a bold and shocking story about love and gambling. I love modern storytelling and stylish movie look. The cinematography and construction of film production is well thought out. The style of the film is now very much in line with its unusual and timely title. The film gave Sean De Guzman showcasing his acting skills and AJ Raval his talent as an actor. He proves in the film that he is the next hot-tempered actor to watch. So if you want to watch a movie that evokes a modern Filipino style in style, go watch TAYA.
