 Last Man Down Review

Swedish film director Fannu Njie should be weaned on a stable mad-life diet, happy 1980s with Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Dolph Lundgren, and Chuck Norris. Njie's first film, titled "Last Man Down," starring an unknown Norwegian bodybuilder, Daniel Stison, acts as a tribute to "Commando" (1985), "Rambo: First Blood, Part II" (1985), and "Rambo: Last ". Blood "(2019). Set recently, this R-apocalyptic, dystopian act is taking place in Europe. A devastating plague has devastated the continent and infected countless millions. Unlike our current epidemic, which many ignore or avoid the goal because encroaches on their freedom; things are so dangerous in the "Last Man Down" that governments collect anti-vaxxers and shoot them without saying a word about the style of killing the head whether they are infected or not. "Hard Tide"), he trusts his 'guts' feelings rather than the gadget designed to detect the presence of the virus. Contrary to Stone's orders, Wood released 500 people who did not have one virus to flee where they want. Now, Stone wants to know where they are going, so that a vicious leader can completely annihilate them. When Wood refused to disclose their whereabouts, Stone brutally grabbed a gun from the head of Wood's wife, Emilia (Stephanie Siadatan of "Breaking Down"), and pressed the gun without hesitation. Tied to a chair and unable to intervene, Wood sees his wife's tragic death. After that, Stone flew Wood towards the sea in a warship for disciplinary action. As he rode, Wood surprised Stone and fled. Before he can leave, Wood throws a knife at his boss, leaving a scar on Stone's right cheek, and punches everyone in the face.

A modest, straightforward, vengeful episode, "The Last Man Down" is a bit of a chore, say 87 minutes, with no sense of humor, and never tired of receiving it. Cleverly, in addition to the battleships, director Fansu Njie strikes many wonders in the beautiful desert around Wood's isolated wardrobe. He does not turn to newspaper headlines to tell us the story of the epidemic. And Njie does not use public domain photos depicting crowds running around major European houses. Instead, Njie relies on solid, old-fashioned disclosures to let us know about everything without falsifying montage. After escaping from the ship, John Wood hides himself in the desert, living the life of a spartan, and chopping down lumber. Meanwhile, Stone and his special forces are searching for Maria Johnson (Olga Kent), an escaped female prisoner who survived the prison epidemic. After examining her, a medical expert found that Maria might have saved mankind because her blood was the only irrational source of vaccine. Instructing her followers to follow the sister, Stone wants them to take a picture of her alive. Somewhere in the middle of the night, Special Forces soldiers shot Maria with a shotgun.

Before Stone's men grab her, Maria staggers into John's house near the lake. At first, John welcomes her coldly. He pulls out a bullet, and the ex-soldier shows him that it contains a tracking device. Eventually, Stone sends more hunters to find Maria. These mercenaries were not prepared by John Wood. They despised him as a woodcutter. The three sneak up behind him while chopping wood. Using his ax, John kills one officer and another with a tool — a special ice pick — and throws it into the boy's throat. Although the third officer arrived at the house where Maria was hiding, the result surprised John. Maria shot the third officer with a shotgun hidden nearby! Despite appearing to be a depressed girl, Maria treats John with the story of her miserable life and how she got her skills at gunpoint. He prefers a bow and arrow over John's rifle, but he is equally capable of other weapons, including machine guns. The stone and the company threw everything they had at the two of them. Still, since they are the majority, John and Maria have come to hate them. John turns his space into a giant booby-trap, dipping the ground in gasoline, so that he can light it when a paid policeman steps on a waterlogged area. Maria confides in John that she wants to give him several blood vessels that will cure millions. Basically, you prefer people to get it for themselves instead of a big pharmacy.

Daniel Stison is very similar to Nick Nolte, and looks like he has a role to play in testosterone-inspired heroes. At one point, Maria is surprised by the sheer number of her weapons. “I like to prepare for battle,” admits John, “and I pray for peace.” John sends dozens of Stone soldiers to their death with many weapons. In the end, John benefits, but at least Maria did not end up romantically involved. Like Commander Stone, Daniel Nehme committed a vicious criminal who you may hate with intense love. No one seems unworthy here, and the "Last Man Down" evokes memories of those aforementioned 80's. Njie never lets this action stop or draw attention as Maria and John battle it out with a complete army of soldiers, who end up frustrated. At the end of all this bloody murder, "Last Man Down" sets himself up for the inevitable poem.
