I had the opportunity to sit down and watch the 2021 Norwegian film "The Onde Dager" (also known as "Journey"), and I did not need to be persuaded to do so. Why? Well, because it was a Norwegian film I had never seen. And no, I had never heard of a movie before I sat down to watch it, so I was not sure if I was in here.
I have to say that writers Tommy Wirkola, Nick Ball and John Niven managed to pull off a story that seemed exciting. It was also a series of stories featuring elements from a variety of movies, from dark jokes, horror / thriller and action in a very satisfying way. There was a good flow and the best in the story, which means there were no dull moments throughout the film. Director Tommy Wirkola has definitely had the ability to set scenes and gradually accumulate in the news list.
The cast of the cast "I Onde Dager" was fantastic. I was only acquainted with Noomi Rapace here, but they had a lot of good actors in the movie. I would also like to say that Aksel Hennie, Atle Antonsen, Christian Rubeck and André Eriksen played very well and could add a lot to the movie.
I was really pleased with what director Tommy Wirkola brought with "The Onde Dager", and this is a film I would warmly recommend you sit down to watch.
