The Widow Movie Review

However, from the movie rating on IMDb and the cover / poster of the movie which is relatively interesting, I must admit that I was expecting this movie to be a worthwhile experience to watch.

But it was not to be. This was a snooze demonstration of amazing proportions. Nothing, and I understand that in fact, nothing significant happened during the 45 minutes of the long and unbearable suffering I could have lived in before I just quit filming given the complete feeling of loneliness that filled the film.

Indeed, the movie had an exciting start when a rescue team roamed the countryside looking for the missing boy Nikita, and instead they found a mysterious woman and the movie slipped down the slope and never recovered. The film went from being fun to being a boring affair in an instant.

About the story in the movie, forget about it, because there is not really much here. And whatever little was going on in the story was just brutally executed the full loneliness and sense of emptiness that emanated from all the scenes.

And it didn’t help that much for the characters to feel like faceless drones were gearing up. I couldn’t tell the characters to each other, not that it really mattered, because the characters had no personality, no background stories, no unique features or elements to make a difference. It was just a wandering of facial bodies running aimlessly and aimlessly. So anything that happened to the characters in the 45 minutes of suffering I planned did not mean anything.

If you enjoy horror films, then "The Widow" (aka "Vdova") is not a movie I would recommend that you spend your money, time or effort on. Some of us have done it with a small or large extension - depending on your level of tolerance watching the trash - so it is not necessary.

The movie was a great play and was missed by writers Natalya Dubovaya, Ivan Kapitonov and Ivan Minin. It is actually impressive that no one, but three writers, can collectively pull out such a bad thing.

My rating of "Widow" reaches more than two in ten stars, and that is based solely on the situation in the movie. Everything else here was just vanity. And since I have suffered 'only' 45 minutes of this trial, I can honestly say that there is nothing I can do to stop it from coming back to finish watching this whole movie.
