However, "Beast Mode" was not exactly the most memorable movie out of 2020. As I sat down to watch "Animal Mode" from directors Chris W. Freeman and Spain Willingham I had never even heard of a film. . But the poster / film cover was interesting and eye-catching, as well as the fact that the movie was called a horror comedy that definitely won points with me.
But the movie was not really a bag of potato chips and then some. Sure, it was watched, but it was by no means the best addition to the horror comedy series, and there are some of the best movies available easily in this genre. But yes, it was watched, even though the overall film experience is below average.
Mostly it was a story that did not bother me in all the right places. The story of the story just sounded so simple and not at all during the entire film period when I felt like the writers were going into the source of the aces. The things featured in the story line were very nonsense, I fear.
Simulation in "Beast Mode" was enough, and the main characters C. Thomas Howell and James Duval handled the movie well enough, considering the limitations imposed on them by simple text and story. It was fun, though, to see ordinary faces like James Hong, Ray Wise and Robert Costanzo appear in the film.
All in all, "Beast Mode" came and went without much movement. And this is by no means a movie with enough content to support a single view. My rating of "Animal Mode" rests on four out of ten stars.
