Run Hide Fight Movie Review
17-year-old Zoe Hull (Isabel May) closes after the tragic loss of her mother (Radha Mitchell). His father Todd (Thomas Jane) or his only friend Lewis can not defend themselves.
This is a Columbinexploitation film. It is a crass exercise at its core. I did not watch the trailer so I thought the madness would come from another angle. In her reaction, I thought Zoe had been raped. Instead, the film is swimming in a different, equally swampy swamp. The filmmaker needs to be careful. Managing this well but there are still major issues in the matter. First of all, the police are no longer doing what they are doing here. They jump in, one by one if necessary. The movie tries to close it with a debate about an active shooter or kidnapping incident. The police are not making that difference these days unless it is clearly a case of kidnapping. As everyone is armed today, there will be twelve parents or ordinary people entering the school. There is also no way for such a school to be without an armed guard. The film Parkland two years ago. It would make more sense to have a policeman hide outside behind a wall like Parkland. Then Zoe returned the gun. That makes little sense. You will definitely give it to a teacher or one of the students so that they can continue to clear the school. If a film tries to exploit a sensitive issue, it may not be as big as these.
On the other hand, Isabel May is a compelling young actress. Eli Brown plays a criminal. There is a good deal of controversy in the 90s. It is not the most insulting thing. These are not garbage cans. They try to give them certain levels. The film is not a joke but one can never take it for granted. What I am saying is that this could have been much worse. The characters do a good job and the materials used are not trash.
