I was lured to watch the 2021 comedy film "Joe's Rate" from the cover / poster, as I must say it seemed like a fun film.
Sadly, the best thing about this movie was that cover. Yes, the movie is a low budget and low key for a powerful hero action, but with a twist. Of course, this film doesn't have the strong guys in muscle in places you never knew they could be. No, these heroines have fathers' bodies. Yes.
However, while that concept has the potential to create good humor, it is far from perfect in terms of entertainment that I enjoy. So this movie was a play and missed by author and director Mark Cant.
What made “Average Joe” fail here for me was the flow of the story and the fact that the gallery of actors in the movie was simply absurd. So there was nothing important here for me.
Now, I'm sure a niche film like "Average Joe" will definitely find an audience somewhere, I just won't be a part of that audience.
I rated "Joe Rate" two out of ten stars, as the movie failed to impress me or impress me on any level.
