Enforcement Movie Review
Collaborating writers and directors Hviid and Olholm gave us a well-filmed film with high-quality cinematography, but it failed in the screen game, especially the ending that made it seem like they were running out of money.
The concept of the mind, though not original, was a good one, especially their image of walking a mile in someone else's shoes. But the screenplay felt drawn to a lot of unnecessary scenes, giving the 108-minute working time the feeling of being so full of the little thing it gave us. The film was to be screened within 80-90 minutes maximum.
What hurt me most was the lack of some kind of ending. I find that most entertainers will leave an end to the viewers' imagination, but with the investment made following the characters 108 minutes, and with more than one conflict requiring some kind of solution, to determine the ending, not really any. in the end, they make it seem as though they are running out of time and / or money. Therefore, I automatically removed one star.
The acting and play was good, and the points were on the point. So all in all it was a good watch at one time, and I would recommend it if you are a fan of this type, but I will never see it again. Certainly not 10/10, but also not worth every 1 from wannabe critics - it was shot and very well directed, and that alone should be at least 4. So it's 7/10 from me, but it would have been at least 8 if the writing had been solid with ... the right ending.
