Babysitter Must Die Movie Review
At first I was tempted to watch the 2020 film "Josie Jane: Kill the Babysitter" when I was offered a cover, and the fact that this was a film I had never seen before.
First of all, let me say that the cover of the film is not really what the film actually represents or what it contains. I was expecting a lot of scary jokes from this cover, but the movie was either straightforward, good or bad.
The story told in "Josie Jane: Kill the Babysitter" was actually well written, and writers Julie Auerbach, Kohl Glass and Kevin Tavolaro were really present for something here. But at the same time, then "Josie Jane: Kill the Baby" finally ended up as another run-of-the-mill-trapped-in-house-alone-against-multiple-homicidal-psychopaths. So successfully "Josie Jane: Kill the Babysitter" could not stand alone.
Acting in the film was enough, considering the genre and the script. There has been no stellar performance here yet, in my opinion. Having said that, don't get me wrong I say the actors and actors were not doing well, because they were doing it. But they had a script and characters that worked against their performance.
There was not much fun or excitement in "Josie Jane: Kill the Babysitter", and everything seems to have happened to the automatic pilot and director Kohl Glass who leaned back in the director's chair to board.
Although I was able to stay through the entire film season, I was just happy with what was happening in the mirror. "Josie Jane: Kill the Babysitter" was not an outstanding or memorable film.
I estimate "Josie Jane: Kill the Babysitter" five to ten stars.
