Demon Slayer Mugen Train Movie Review

I really wanted this film to awaken my mind and become my new favorite of all time. It has long been the case that shonen anime has benefited the American market in a big way. I have no doubt that Demon Slayer will find great financial success here, considering it is the top box of all time in Japan and the season 1 show market was huge here. I just wish the doors had been blown up in a much bigger way.

Mugen Train is a direct sequel to season 1 of the popular anime anime Demon Slayer. The animation in the show was already impressive, but it was promised that the studio behind the film is in a completely different league. This has become a reality and has become one of the most inspiring animated cartoons I have ever seen. Not to be underestimated are the positive points that pushed these moving images to the surface.

The story is amazing, it has a few sad moments and there are no holes in the structure. There were even big surprises that turned the story into a moneyless one. The problem I had was that I was expecting a lot from shonen anime. I expect a certain feeling of abandonment and darkness when the main character realizes that his opponent is beyond his control, or vice versa. I expect even greater threat to be presented at the end of any victory. Demon Slayer does both, but gently.

Finally, this is a great movie you can watch in theaters to get a view, even if you haven't seen the show yet. Seeing the show may add depth to the humor or empathy of the characters, but it is not necessary. I recommend this film to any mature person to remove the strong ideas of who should or should not go to the shonen anime in theaters.
