Ape vs. Monster Movie Review
Yes, another funny person from Asylum. And this time they made money by saying "Godzilla vs. Kong".
I mean, with the movie / poster only, you already know it's going to be one of those movies. However, I decided to sit down and look at it. Why? Well, always a good looking movie makes it come out of the Asylum machine.
"Ape vs. Monster" was watched, of course, but it was by no means a fun film. Especially since the two gargantuan creatures have very little screen time. Come to the people of The Asylum. When people sit down to watch your destroyers, they want to watch the action between the two vicious creatures fighting, and they don't have to sit in the middle of a 90% screen period of questionable imitation and horrible conversation.
But yes, that was what "Ape vs. Monster" was all about. Most of the film was just dialogue between actors and actors. And remember, the dialogue was not well written, nor was it well presented by the artists. So you are not in a position to make Shakespearian if you sit down to watch "Ape vs. Monster".
Apparently I should say that Asylum has promoted their game here. CGI's "Ape vs. Monster" was significantly higher than most other Asylum films. Certainly, this was not the biggest CGI compared to other high-budget Hollywood movies. But with the film from Asylum, it wasn’t all that bad.
Of all the actors and actors who took part in "Ape vs. Monster", then only Eric Roberts knew me. And let's be honest here, he's not really a big league player. Although I have to admit I was a little surprised to see him reach the level of participation in the film from Asylum. But hey, the dollar is a dollar, right? It should be noted that the film adaptation was strong, hard and very unpopular.
"Ape vs. Monster" is just another joke from Asylum, for better or worse. So if you enjoy these kinds of movies, you will probably find fun in this 2021 movie. If you are looking for a movie that is fairly entertaining, then "Ape vs. Monster" is not your best bet.
I rated "Ape vs. Monster" three stars out of ten.
