Cosmic Sin Movie Review

I noticed that "Cosmic Sin" recently entered the IMDB list of the infamous Bottom 100 and has only 2.5 sad points! So, not only is it on the list ... but it is very high on the list at # 39!

When I first watched this sci-fi film, I immediately saw why the film was so hated. The film is set in the 26th century and during this time, there is space travel and life on many planets and moons. So, why do you see people driving trucks that look like they are from 2021? Why are the clothes so beautiful you can see today and why are so many weapons less effective or different than today ?! In fact it looks like they should have spent all their budget on finding Bruce Willis' talents and they have nothing to make it look like a matter of the future. Now I don’t think you need expensive materials to make a good film ... but this is funny and takes you out of the story.

The story begins with the discovery of a new kind of life on another new planet. It seems that until now, people have never been in contact with any kind of intelligent animal ... even people living in many new lands. As you would expect, this new kind of emotional life is not fun and unfriendly .... as who would want to see a movie like that ?! Also, it turns out that it is so deadly that in every galaxy (counting billions, many, many) the only young man who can stop creatures is a war criminal, James Ford (Willis)!

I have seen some of the worst films that have ever been on the IMDB list ... mainly because they are old, cheap and obscure. In other words, Bottom 100 is very focused on new films ... so even though the film is bad, it is not the 39th worst film ever made! I think a lot of people just got on Netflix and got a chance to see it ... and very few people have ever seen the films of Ed Wood, Al Adamson, Ray Dennis Steckler and William Grefe ... all the filmmakers really knew them. how to make bad movies ... REALLY bad films!

So is there anything good about this movie? Some CGI space scenes are great and can look great on the big screen (though I think this film, when it came out, went straight to Netflix and Amazon Prime). If not, the story is not particularly interesting, the conversation is usually very bad and the performance is not very good. Not at all bad ... just too bad. Also, unfortunately it is not so bad that it is fun to watch to make fun of the film.

After all, almost all updates to this are very bad. With this and 2.5 points, I am amazed to find other people giving 10s! A few admit it is bad but they either step on it or like it because it is too bad. Few, however, are the VERY short reviews that speak of how clever it is ... a sure sign that is often a false review by people linked to the film ... which is very embarrassing.
