The Boss Baby 2 Movie Review

Waiting for 4 years to get so disappointed? I mean, I was feeling bad that this would be a disaster, so at least I’m glad it wasn’t that bad.

To start with, I think cartoons are good for the most part, the dimming of the movement and the depth of the scene look really amazing and I don't think I've ever seen those things used before in cartoon films, though I don't. watch a lot of cartoon movies, so I couldn't really say. Although I do not really like Tina's design, her face does not look good.

I like some of the music / song options and the few action scenes are great.

There’s a good depth in seeing people the other way around, and it was really fun to see Tim get to know his daughter better without her talking to “him”.

Now for the worse: Carol is a really immature character, there is not much about her, I wish she could play a bigger role in this. Also, why the characters from the series could not come back, Danny was on the film screen and yet I did not see him in the film itself, what a disappointment.

I really hate that the brethren are somehow now far apart from each other and even after all that they have been through in the first film and all 4 seasons of the series. I like that Theodore doesn't remember anything as it creates a good continuation after the series, but also not a single character in the series from here.

All family values are re-read here and it also seems cheap as if they could not teach us other principles besides family and love. We knew very well that it was already from the first film and series and was done in the best way possible for those.

Most of the film follows a common plot, and the villain is less interesting, he is simply a lesser villain to all the bosses of Boss Baby.

Also, it seems Tim has never grown up. His dad was kind of easy going, slow-moving and handsome and Tim looked like his little version. But I have to believe that Tim did not grow up with his father, but in fact, he grew up to be a shy, irrational father.

Also, the film has no tricks or clever clues that the original film has. The first film and the series were both full of depth, but here everything is clear and simple.

The conclusion is just basic. They have tried to make this a reunion of the character and pass on to the new generations, but they have done it in a very inconvenient way. Especially that I have seen Dragon Ball GT: The Legacy of the Hero, which is just a pure love letter to both actors and fans.

Boss Baby 2: Family Business is not bad, but it puts a lot of pressure on what it could be. I can go far and call this by taking money.
