The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It Movie Review
The Conjuring Universe has had a positive impact since 2013, with only one or two disappointing films in the business, this was the eighth installment and I was thrilled to be able to go to the reopened cinemas, directed by Michael Chaves (The Curse). eLa Llorona). Basically, organized in 1981, young David Glatzel (Julian Hilliard) has a demonic spirit that seeks the soul of a boy. The priest tries to make an exorcism, but it seems hopeless. Hoping to get air out of the boy's body, family friend Arne Cheyenne Johnson (Ruairi O'Connor) orders the breath out of the boy's body and replaces him. The spirit leaves David's body and enters Arne, before disappearing. Meanwhile, regular investigators Ed (Patrick Wilson) and Lorraine Warren (Vera Farmiga) continue to do what they are known for, while also trying to preserve family life with their daughter Judy (Sterling Jerins). Elsewhere, Arne suddenly finds an evil spirit back and picks up his body, and the next thing he knows he finds himself walking down the street, stopped by a police officer as he is covered in blood. Arne has been arrested on suspicion of murdering his landlord, but in court, for the first time in U.S. history, he claims to be possessed by demons as a means of self-defense. The Warrens are being called to his trial and are investigating to establish his innocence. They returned to the spirit realm that was once known and attacked. Along the way the Warrens also talk to people they meet about how they met and got married at an early age. There is a point when they meet Kastner (John Noble Rings King) who may have had his own experience with the demonic spirit himself. The Warrens really have their violent encounters with demons. In the end, despite Warrens' support of his defense in court, Arne was jailed, convicted of murder, and sentenced to only five years in prison and 10 to 20 years in prison. He also played Sarah Catherine Hook as Debbie Glatzel, Eugenie Bondurant as The Occultist, Shannon Kook as Drew Thomas, Ronnie Gene Blevins as Bruno Sauls, Keith Arthur Bolden as Sergeant Clay, Steve Coulter as Father Gordon, Vince Pisani as Father Newman, Mitchell Hoog as young Ed Warren, and Megan Ashley Brown as young Lorraine Warren. Farmiga and Wilson re-played their role and shared as much as two (real life), the story was real, some escape I expected, one or two I did not do, and there were special positive effects of the bad things that happened. at night, it was supernatural. Worth to watch!
