Wonder Woman 1984 Movie Review
With Wonder Woman bringing the much-needed color back to DC Films.
Wonder Woman 1984 has two steps back. The inspiration is Batman Returns when it comes to criminals.
The opening scene features a young Diana who participates in a competition where she learns an important life lesson. If you are ahead, stop looking behind you many times. You will miss the obstacles in front of you!
Set up in 1984, Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) works for the Smithsonian and her mysterious perpetrator is still unknown as Wonder Woman.
The story revolves around a failed businessman Maxwell Lord (Pedro Pascal) who follows Dreamstone under consideration by Smithsonian. It has the power to give desire. It makes Steve Trevor live where Diana unknowingly wishes she was with him when he was near the rock.
The Lord follows Dreamstone to redeem his business career as he realizes the magnitude of its potential.
Smithsonian also has a new geologist. Barbara Minerva (Kristen Wiig) sarcastically and lonely who became Diana's friend and was rescued by Wonder Woman when she was attacked in the park. Barbara also wishes she could be like Wonder Woman and Dreamstone gives her strength.
Barbara is a paralyzed version of Selina Kyle, when she fully realizes her potential, she becomes a Cheetah rather than a Catwoman.
That makes Maxwell Lord very similar to Max Shreck crossing with even more immoral Donald Trump. Unfortunately the Lord's desire to be a 'stone' and to give desires to men is a conspiracy.
Maxwell gives people their wishes, by giving something back to them in order to restore his health. However, all those conflicting aspirations that have been achieved put the world at a disadvantage. Maxwell is destined to have a state of pollution.
The film is too long and not very well arranged. The first part of the film changes a lot. It is very busy trying to recreate the 1984 period. It needed to be edited and reinforced with better episodes of the set.
This film doesn't sound right, I think I'm not the only one who thought that having an actress who served in the Israeli Defense Forces to enter the Middle East would be deceptive.
Somehow they treated both abuse and misogyny in the same film. Wonder Woman seems to save women and children throughout the film. However just check out the scenes with Barbara Minerva. The embarrassing version cannot attract the attention of men without the rapist.
When Barbara changes, she shines with six-inch heels. As he walks down the street, all the men are watching him. The text below is that men are only interested in lovely women. One article says that if you are a cheap woman or you have nothing, forget about the men who want you.
At least a moderate portion of debt was fun for people over a certain age.
