Jolt Review
Lindy has serious problems with controlling her anger. He suffers from explosive disturbances; this means that anyone who offends him is likely to experience his murderous anger. Various people tried to help him or at least to vent his anger on their goals but to no avail. Eventually she found a psychiatrist giving her a vest with straps to hold her in her arms if she felt she could not hold them. This situation makes it almost impossible to build a relationship but one day you meet a man, Justin the librarian, who can feel encouraged to hurt him ... he may be 'her'. Unfortunately, he ended up dead in a dumpster with two bullets in his head. Lindy is not happy with the police response so she decides to follow the killer herself ... because as long as her violent tendencies may work for her rather than ruin her life.
If you want a real or something mysterious it means this is not your film; if on the other hand you have a lot of strong action and enough conspiracy to forgive you this is worth watching. There are many actions from beginning to end; this mainly means fighting but there is also a fun car chase, a few explosions and a funny chase to the hospital. Kate Beckinsale is as impressive as Lindy; We know that a woman her age has not been able to beat the big men she has to fight but if you can stop the unbelief it doesn't seem silly ... she can certainly pull the trigger on well-organized battlefields. Bobby Cannavale and Laverne Cox as Detective Vicars and Detective Nevin are solid; I know some viewers were reluctant to have a police officer but I thought he was a good character. Tanya Wexler did a great job of directing. All in all I would recommend this to anyone who wants ninety minutes of action and there is nothing worse.
