Bloomfield Review
I was thrilled to see this film at the Houston Horror Film Festival recently and was very impressed. The film has a beautiful vibration of the atmosphere with it when Wicker Man and Messiah of Evil sounded down, and little by little Rosemary's Baby. While the film may be too short for fans of a particular genre, its use of supernatural powers, old black tropes, and mysterious cult scenes provides enough fear. In addition, the first director, has done a masterpiece from past events to the present day to compose a compelling interesting story. Likewise I am glad that the old luxury house and the city itself were the second characters in some respects. For a low-budget film there are plenty of good aerial photography and attractions, which believe that its budget is limited.
When we turn to the cast, there are prominent actors from Jennifer Moriarty, Allie Perez, and director Brianna Young. Aunt Aunt Tilda has a southern gothic vibe about her that is attractive and deceptive. You can probably think of Tilda as the actress in the Faulkner story or the play Williams. I look forward to seeing what Auntie Tilda is cooked for in a series of mockery.
If I had to put some level of complaint about the film that it gets a long touch and it could have lasted an extra year. However as it has been said that Bloomfield is no doubt the most awesome indie and the first great feature of a film director. Lastly, the film is an excellent change of pace from the usual horror indie slippers and features of creatures one forgets to watch in a low budget movie.
All in all I highly recommend watching Bloomfield.
