Danny Boy Review
There is something very small about Danny Boy and he did not survive as he tried so hard to be given all sides.
In 2004, Sergeant Brian Wood (Anthony Boyle) and his Iraqi unit were attacked. He was awarded the Soldiers' Cross for his bravery as he restrained the soldiers.
Some years later, Wood and his men were charged with murdering and illegally torturing Iraqi prisoners in The Battle of Danny Boy.
Wood said the Iraqis he encountered were soldiers, not farmers, as has been claimed.
Leading the charge against her was human rights lawyer Phil Shiner (Toby Jones) who had previously won the Baha Mousa case.
Wood was the technical advisor on the game. It has been very successful in coping with her trauma and reuniting with her family. His frustration over being left behind by the military during his military training.
About Shiner who was eventually fired as a lawyer and his company disappeared. He seemed to be underestimated in the game.
Shiner may have had reason to investigate any alleged abuses by British troops. However, he also smelled money, which is why Shiner admitted to paying an Iraqi medieval to find the right victims. It turned out that the farmers were really soldiers.
Somehow it is too dry to dislike it. Apparently this was meant to be for two participants and court scenes but instead it was made a reduced television film.
