Jungle Cruise Review
"Jungle Cruise" is the latest Disney film released in theaters with Disney +. I saw it on Disney + and I'm sure it would look even better on the big screen. I say 'mostly' because some of the visuals are amazing and would look good ... but there were also a few CGI sequences that would look really bad on the big screen because they look so old ... like jaguars and snakes ... all that look fake.
As for the story, it started off very well but with the course of the film I found myself losing my temper for three important reasons. First of all, most of the characters were stupid and one-sided, like a completely plucky and anachronistic lady and here my brother is incredibly funny. They were not well written and took me out of the story. Second, and more importantly, the story itself eventually became a re-enactment of the "Pirates of the Caribbean" .... and it was really obvious when they had characters who looked very like Barbarossa and his skeleton team. Third, over time the film became, you can say, boring. This is especially true of the conclusion ... which seemed to go on and on.
All in all, Dwayne ‘the Rock’ Johnson was the best in the film and the other place was amazing ... but other than that the story is so weird and common that you can’t enjoy it unless you shut your brain and accept it otherwise. questions ... and you will have more as you look at the picture.
