If the film wins any script prizes, then the prizes need to be stopped until the prizes can no longer be awarded with documents like this. I don't think the script is too bad. Did I mention the script is bad?
If this were a 3rd grade school and the film was a 3rd grade drama, imitation would be considered acceptable. Being adults, imitation was not good.
I had never seen such a thrilling film, which moved for decades. It tries hard, often, to be taken seriously. Sometimes it fails with humor, sometimes it fails with deep immersion. The point is that it fails.
I wish the actors all the best - but I urge them to be careful not to focus their names on this big mistake. This film will never reach the "worst of all funny" scenario. There will be no next religion. I don't think it has to happen to the community to make this happen.
