Dune World Review
Admittedly, when I sat down to watch this 2021 movie titled "Dune World", I did not have much hope or expectation from the movie. Why? However, from the title alone, it looked like a comedian earning money with the new film "Dune". So, I thought this was going to be another film from Asylum.
First of all, this movie was not a production of Asylum, for better or worse. Although I wish I could, because at least I would have gotten into something much better than what Polonia Brothers Entertainment was able to spit on.
And then I say oh. Oops! This movie was incredibly bad. It was bad in every way and character. From storytelling, to imitation, to special effects and to programs and goods. Everything here was more than just the volume of what you thought could be transferred so the film could see the light of day in 2021. But somehow author John Oak Dalton managed to write the script for this horror film, and director Mark Polonia brought it to him on screen.
The special effects of the film were so bad that I was allowed to laugh out loud. In fact, my son came in and intervened as I laughed out loud, and he commented on how every false step looked like in almost every scene we had. And the robot was badly mad; they had a boy of the same size wearing a jacket with a silver hood and wearing a children's toy mask. And the CGI effects look like they were made in the Arts & Crafts category and hit the movie in the background production.
The cast of the film was woody, solid and meaningless as the story line itself. So don’t put your hopes in any of the actors who will rescue this movie as it sinks into the wall. Needless to say, there are no regular faces in the cast list.
Do yourself a favor and stay clear of the "Dune World", simply because it is not worth the time, money or effort.
My rating of "Dune World" is based on one in ten stars. This is one of the worst sci-fi movies I've ever suffered.
