Old Review
A group of tourists head to a luxurious resort, then head out to a very secluded beach. When they get there, they find strange objects: a few corpses, some of the wreckage, and they begin to grow old themselves, to the point that the children in the group will die of old age in 36 hours.
I do not give any spoiler warning on this, because once you have seen the trailers, you already know this. This is an M film. Night Shyamalan, we are waiting for repentance, and the mysteries within the mysteries. Excellent actors, including Gael Garcia Bernal, and what seemed to be a special effect of fiction and CGI gave the prospect of a film framed like an onion.
The technical side was well managed, but as for the layers of mystery, they were not. It is possible that the text was a reflection of the seven times of man. Instead it was mainly aimed at cataloging the minutiae of status, and asserting that physical aging enhances your vocabulary and gives you a positive, philosophical attitude, even though you have only six years of experience. This may be as you like, but I have no interest in winning fire battles with people who insist that things should be completely in line with the myth. It is a myth. If your goal in life is to prove that you are a better filmmaker than Shyamalan, get out of your parents' basement and look for work in the industry. For me, the point of myth and science is to give us a chance to look at the philosophical problem without considering all the dirty, real-life details that include dialogue, Sauron's unhappy childhood, the Elabor Whataboutism. cheating young people in their payments, so that they do not get better ..... real life is chaotic, real life is complicated, real life requires constant, careful, but mythical flexibility allows us to think things through and say "What if" without interruption.
Unless you really care about the question, you are very interested in finding out how old people are at a rate of 20,000: 1 in detail, and winning an argument in that Reddit chat room. I sympathize. I've been, I've done that, and I've grown up. Not just physically, but also emotionally and philosophically. Some, however.
