Don’t Breathe 2 Review
The first film was a great horror movie, I saw a sequel trailer, and I was amazed at how it would be played, it got mixed reviews of critics, but I wanted to make up my mind. In fact, eight years after the incident, former Navy Seal Norman Nordstrom aka Blind Man (Stephen Lang of Avatar) lives alone in a house away from Detroit and his Rottweiler, Shadow. She has since raised an 11-year-old orphan Phoenix (Madelyn Grace), telling her that her mother had died when the house caught fire. The only blind man contact with the community was property left by his friend, former Military Guard Hernandez (Stephanie Arcila). He convinces the Blind Man to let Phoenix join him on a trip to town so he can have time to get out of the house. While doing chores together, Hernandez stops at a garage to fill up. Phoenix uses the bathroom and a man named Raylan (Brendan Sexton III) tries to talk to him before he leaves with Hernandez. Raylan and his men secretly followed Hernandez back to the Blind Man's house. They waited for Hernandez to drop the girl off before they ambushed them. The men killed Hernandez and Shadow. The Blind Man walks out looking at the dog, while Raylan's men enter the house to kidnap Phoenix. The Blind Man finds Shadow's body before he runs back into the house to protect Phoenix. A dispute erupts between Mpofu and members of a gang, in which he kills several men. It turned out that eight years ago a Phoenix house burned down because of an underground meth lab. Raylan, a well-known drug dealer, was detained after the explosion and sentenced to eight years in prison on various charges. A Blind Man found Phoenix unconscious outside a burning house and his dog took him home to fulfill his need for a daughter again. After her release, Raylan discovered that his daughter was still alive when she saw him leave flowers at her mother's memorial in a burnt-out house. Phoenix tries to escape but faints for Raylan's team Raul (Christian Zagia). Raylan releases his dog to kill the Blind Man, reluctant to kill the animal and trap him in the basement. Raylan explodes the house and walks with his men and Phoenix. Norman escapes from the burning house, but not before releasing Raylan's dog, who is close to him. He finds Hernandez's van, fully armed inside, and ties the dog so that it can guide him to a gang. In a hiding place in a hotel abandoned by a gang, Raylan tells Phoenix that he is a real father, confirming that by showing that they both have white hair on the right side of their head. Raylan reveals that Phoenix's real name is Tara and introduces her to her mother Josephine (Fiona O'Shaughnessy), who is alive but dying. The mother explains that she accidentally caused a fire eight years ago while cooking meth. The accident exposed her to dangerous chemicals, which poisoned her internal organs. Raylan kidnapped her not because of love but because they needed a new heart for her mother. Phoenix was drugged and taken to a temporary operating room, where Surgeon (Steffan Rhodri) explained that his lack of proper means meant that he had to have a heart attack when Phoenix fainted. A blind man causes darkness, and the surgeon stops the heart surgeon. Raylan orders his men to investigate, but they are ambushed and killed by the Blind Man. Raul opposes Raylan's plan and decides to help the Blind Man find Phoenix. Norman blocks Raylan, his wife, and a surgeon from an empty hotel room. The blind man kills the surgeon, and he struggles with Raylan, but Raylan's dog intervenes and opens the door to its owner. In the struggle, Raylan accidentally shot and killed his wife, prompting her to turn on her electric chair, sending her to an empty pool with Phoenix handcuffed. The blind man pulls out Raylan's eyes and leaves him thinking he is dead and saves Phoenix. Deeply hurt, he tells Phoenix that all Raylan told him was true, admits his various crimes, including murder and rape, and tells him that he is better off without her and leaves. Raylan, despite his injuries, appears and stabs Mpofu. Before cutting the Blind Man's Throat, Phoenix kills Raylan with a machete. She tries to help the blind man, but he answers that she has saved him. After the death of the Blind Man, Phoenix leaves the hotel on his way to the children's home he saw while he was having an affair with Hernandez. He comes across children playing outside the house and introduces himself as Phoenix. He also played with Rocci Williams as Duke, Bobby Schofield as Jared, and Adam Young as Jim Bob. Lang goes from a terrifying blind man to a less sympathetic character with a good sense of hearing, he certainly is less of this than a drug group, and the little girl is very pretty. The first was an unscrupulous robbery, this sequence to a completely different path to kidnapping and a vicious plot to steal the little girl's heart, but also the perpetrators got more than they intended. This sequence is very violent and dark in tone, I do not know if it is attractive or clever, I can see why there have been mixed reviews, but it is a terrifying game. Worth to watch!
