In the spring and autumn, the Chu king is cruel. He instructs more than a hundred blacksmiths to make for him a high-quality weapon. The blacksmiths, however, fail, and the King of Chu erupts in fury and executes them. With no choice, Feng Huzi introduced Ou Yezi, Gan Jiang, a sword-wielding student, to King Chu. He threatens Gan Jiang with the lives of more than 100 blacksmiths and forces him to make a weapon. Gan Jiang has no choice but to leave his family, and take Mo Ye, the sword he has made, and take him to Chu's palace. But he does not return. Gan Jiang's son, Chi, grows up and becomes a young man wielding a sword. He takes his sword, called Gan Jiang, and enters the royal city, and fights alone to avenge his father's death.
