 Eternals Review

One year, another Marvel Studios hero movie, isn’t it? However, it may seem. I had only heard a little bit about "Eternals" before I sat down and watched it. But again, hero movies are not exactly my first choice to go to the movies. But yes, I do watch them when I am given the opportunity, as Marvel Studios releases good enough movies if not with the amazing CGI.

And so it was with the 2021 film “Eternals” from writers Chloé Zhao, Patrick Burleigh, Ryan Firpo and Kaz Firpo. The whole film was flash and bang and did not have the right content. It was all really ridiculous eye candy.

For me, there we are talking about the twists and turns of Marvel Studios in the 2021 hero film "Eternals". By the end of the film, I was left with a strong sense of 'why did I spend two and a half hours watching it?' And I was left with the feeling that none of the characters portrayed in the story had any significance or background. You can also replace the mannequins and end up with the same film effect.

You can imagine that with a cast of actors including the likes of Gemma Chan, Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek, Kit Harington and Lauren Ridloff among others, you will have the opportunity to find the best movie. But no, director Chloé Zhao did not stand up to present the film of a powerful and exciting hero. No, this was a lukewarm film.

The complete lack of well-written characters and character development during the two and a half working hours was a corruption witness. And it completely turned the movie into something shallow. However, I was able to finish it, but believe me, this is not a movie I will ever watch again. There were so many characters you could trace, yet none of them had a well-written background, character traits, personality or anything, so they just blended into an invisible mass. So, I didn't care about any of the heroic characters, because they were as interesting as mannequins.

"Eternals" was pure and simply an eye candy in terms of entertainment value. The story line would be very interesting if the story had interesting characters, clips, etc., but there was no such thing happening here.

Sure, I'm not a fan of the superhero genre, but watch the movie no matter what, but "Eternals" was among the top rivals for being among the most meaningless and boring movies.

My rating of "Eternals" is based on three out of ten stars.
