I went into this movie with an open mind and watched it until the very end. Unfortunately, the film is not very good. I did not go to film school, I did not complain about the noise, the camera angles, and the light, it all looked good enough; I have certainly seen the worst. A story that never drew me.
There is a loose plot. Hitman meets a girl who is likely to eventually kill him, and then gets interested in her. The problem is not there in the film where I found myself having a certain interest in the characters, none of them seem to be attractive or entertaining. For example, the movie gives a few lines of dialogue to try to explain how Dean became a Hitman, but there is not much clarity in it.
In someone's self-produced film, one solid feature is the fight choreography. The three stars I have given are for the fighting scenes alone. From her background, Kirk Caouette has 25 years of experience (including great movies) and shows. They are well packaged and waterproof. However, the movie should be more than just a sequence of actions.
The film finally seems to be a bad mix of Léon: The Professional meets John Wick. In the end it is not very good.
