A Quiet Place 2 Movie Review

The first film was a brilliant horror film, one of the best I've ever seen in the last few years, and I was thrilled when the sequel was finally released in cinemas. Basically, it opens with a flashback, at the beginning of an alien attack. The Abbott family goes to a baseball game, with Marcus (Noah Jupe) playing. In the middle of the game, spectators are amazed to see a flaming object in the sky roaming the Earth. As people exit the park and try to drive, the city is attacked by unknown creatures with armed skin, high speed, and extraordinary strength. Father and husband Lee (John Krasinski, who also writes and directs) are slowly realizing that creatures do not see but have an extremely sensitive world to hunt their prey. In this day and age, most of the people who have been killed by foreigners, Lee has sacrificed his life to save his children. His family is survived by his wife Evelyn (Emily Blunt), now a young Marcus, deaf daughter Regan (Millicent Simmonds), and a newborn son. Regan, who discovered that the high-frequency noise response of the creatures was weak, found that transmitting sound from his cochlear implant to help hear through a microphone and speaker put the creatures at risk, allowing Evelyn to shoot herself to death. With their once famous home destroyed, and finding this way to kill the monsters, the family goes to seek refuge and seeks out other survivors. They brought Regan's kit to protect the creatures. They enter the enclosure, trap the snare, and when they are forced to flee, Marcus falls into the bear's trap. Her next cry attracts the creature, but Regan uses a kit to weaken us and Evelyn to kill us. They released Marcus and fled to an abandoned metal cage as another creature approached. Inside, they came across Emmett (Cillian Murphy), Lee's ex-friend, who had become an outcast. He brings them inside to hide in this creature, in a mysterious place, and reluctantly lets them sit in the basement, seeing the baby. To protect the baby, and to prevent its cries from attracting the creatures, it is kept inside a box, which contains a respirator attached to an oxygen tank. While hiding in an established area, Marcus and Regan found a radio station signal that continued playing Bobby Darin's "Beyond the Sea" song. Regan decides it is a trail aimed at leading survivors to the rescue of a group of nearby islands. He thinks that if he can get to the radio tower, the sound of the hearing aid can be transmitted so that the survivors can arm the creatures. After telling Marcus his plan, he goes out alone to find the broadcast station. Finding Regan gone, Evelyn begs Emmett to bring her back. Emmett finds Regan inspecting an abandoned train, which contains only the bodies of animal victims. After avoiding the creature that is attracted to the noise made by the train, Emmett wants us back in the dock. Emmett initially doubted the radio acquisition plan, pointing out that there may be no survivors at all, but Regan believes they feel they are willing to help others if they can. Meanwhile, Evelyn leaves Marcus and the baby in the mall to collect needed medical supplies and equipment, including oxygen bottles. In his absence, Marcus inspects the foundation and finds the body of Emmett's wife. Suddenly he strikes something, creating a noise that warns a nearby creature. Marcus slowly enters the basement, but accidentally shuts himself in with the baby, running out of air and oxygen in the tank. In the water, Emmett and Regan wanted a boat. They are thought to be corrupt people who began searching for Regan for their possessions. Emmett shouts to lure two creatures that kill the confused citizens. As he boarded the ship, Emmett saw one of the creatures drown and realized that the visitors could not swim. Regan defends a small boat and the two find an island where a small survivor colony is located, and they live a normal life, with no need for peace. The colonial leader (Djimon Hounsou) revealed that when the government discovered that the creatures could not swim, the National Guard moved as many people as possible to the islands. Meanwhile, Marcus and the baby are trapped inside the air-conditioned basement and almost suffocated. Evelyn returns and interrupts the creatures, using one of the two cans she has collected to ignite the beast, saving her children. The three continue to hide inside the basement as the creature roams the area. A yacht creature has swept across the island and has begun to invade colonies. Colonial leader Emmett and Regan jumped into a car and led the creature toward a radio station. The creature kills the leader while Emmett and Regan make it inside. While Regan finds the signal source, the creature enters and attacks. The creature is about to kill Emmett, when Regan transmits high frequency with room speakers, making the creature unable to. He hits the stranger's open head with an iron rod, kills him and saves Emmett. At that moment, the creature in Foundry found a bunker. It attacks Evelyn, but before she can kill him, Regan's broadcast plays on Marcus' portable radio, paralyzing the creature. Marcus shot her dead with Evelyn's pistol. Regan leaves his hearing aid plugged into a radio station microphone, allowing anyone who receives frequency to fight creatures. Scoot McNairy as Marina Man, Dean Woodward as Beau Abbott, Okieriete Onaodowan as a police officer, Zachary Golinger as Emmett's son, and Lauren Ashley Cristiano as Emmett's wife. The smart foundation using a sound sensor is almost as intense as before, I was a little annoyed that there are whispers in some squares, but the atmosphere is still shocking and immersed. The post-apocalyptic world is expanding, the survival object continues to be good, the monsters are still the object of nightmares, and Marco Beltrami points are terrifying, generally, terrifying and satisfying. Very good!
