Spiral Movie Review
I did not expect to see Saw movies again after The Final Chapter (Saw VII, or Saw 3D, as it is commonly known), but he managed to pull out a Jigsaw three years ago, and this eighth installment, directed. by Darren Lynn Bousman (Saw II, Mother's Day, St. Agatha). In fact, at a party on July 4, an off-duty police officer Detective Marv 'Boz' Boswick (Dan Petronijevic) chased a thief into a sewer pipe. He is attacked from behind by a man wearing a pig mask, and he wakes up to find himself hanging his tongue in a trap above the tunnel of a subway train. On television a video is played from a man wearing a pig mask with a distorted voice, telling him that he has a choice: stick out his tongue and live, or be struck and killed by an oncoming train. Boswick was unable to flee in time and was hit and killed by a train. The next day, police Captain Angie Garza (Marisol Nichols) presents Detective Ezekiel "Zeke" Banks (Chris Rock, producer) with a new colleague, key rookie William Schenk (Max Minghella of The Handmaid's Tale). Banks and Schenk are investigating Boswick's death, seeing the circumstances of the officer's death, and the red spray painted on the wall, Banks believes the crime was instigated by the late Jigsaw Killer, better known as John Kramer. Meanwhile, Detective Fitch (Richard Zeppieri) of the murder is abducted and placed in a trap where he has to cut his fingers to avoid being immersed in the filling bowl; he too could not escape death. A few years ago, Fitch did not ignore a backup call from Banks, which led to his almost death. Some officials are beginning to suspect that the Bank may be responsible for his actions with Fitch. The box then arrives at the station, containing a pig doll and a piece of Schenk tattooed skin inside. A small bottle inside the box directs police to a butcher shop, formerly a hobby Bank and his father, a retired chief Marcus Banks (Samuel L. Jackson), to attend. Upon arrival, the team finds a record and a Schenk skinned corpse. Deciding to track down the killer himself, Marcus goes to the warehouse, where he is abducted. Shortly afterwards, Garza is abducted, trapped in a cold precinct area where he has to cut his spinal cord to stop the hot glue flowing from the pipe to his face. He managed to amputate his spine successfully but died from his injuries, Banks found his body. Following the lead, Bank is caught and handcuffed to a pipe in a warehouse with a saw nearby. She thinks of cutting off her arm but manages to escape using a bobby pin. He then found Pete Dunleavy (Patrick McManus), his ex-partner who was fired when Banks disclosed his murder and was chained. A large glass crushing machine has been changed to throw shrapnel at Pete at high speed; The tape recorder states that the Bank may choose to release him or let him die. Although Banks tries to save Pete, he dies of bleeding. Going to another room, Banks then found Schenk, a living man who had committed suicide by using the skin of a thief who lured Boswick into a tunnel; he was a cat killer all this time. He explains that he is indeed Billy Emerson, the son of the man killed by Pete, who was shot for refusing to testify against a corrupt police officer. He also points out that Marcus, during his tenure as prime minister, deliberately defended corrupt officials, including Garza, in order to “clean up” the criminal streets effectively. Emerson introduces him through a final test to prove himself as a potential friend. Marcus is trapped in the air and bleeding slightly. Emerson calls 911 and claims to be a citizen followed by the shooter, which resulted in the dispatcher sending a SWAT team to his location. He gives Bank a single shotgun and gives him a choice, either to shoot a target that will save Marcus but let Emerson escape, or kill Emerson and let his father bleed to death. Banks decides to shoot the target to save Marcus, causing his restrictions to loosen and bring him down. He fights Emerson, and the SWAT team arrives. The SWAT tram indirectly opened the triwire, causing Marcus to be arrested, and a shotgun attached to his arm. Obstacles and a gun are pulled up, a SWAT fault Marcus for shooting and killing. Bank cries out in pain as Emerson runs away. Playing with Ali Johnson as Officer Jeannie Lewis, Zoie Palmer as Kara Boswick, Dylan Roberts as Sergeant Morgey, KC Collins as Detective Drury, Edie Inksetter as Detective Kraus, Thomas Mitchell as Detective O'Brien, Carvin Winans as Officer Paul, Leila Leigh as Detective O'Brien Officer Mark, and Josh Stolberg as Officer. Rock proves himself more than a comedian who does hard work as a leading cop, Minghella is right, and Jackson is a strange but exciting decision as the father of the main character. This follows the view of the authorities trying to apprehend the killer, Tobin Bell is nowhere to be seen (except for some pictures) as the offender is a copycat, but it does not work well. Traps and Death is as horrible as the previous inclusion of "sexual harassment", but the film suffers from a lack of change, no scary things, no fun things, and an unpredictable script, something disappointing and boring. All right!
