This starts where movie # 2 (After the Crash) comes from. Tessa and Hardin after overcoming a few obstacles have finally met ... Tessa is the only one who did not tell Hardin that he was moving to Seattle for a week to work on the new Vance Publishing. Hardin reacts badly when he finds out and is his usual abusive, non-communicative, hard-to-deal person ... leading to Tessa as a baby, a tit-for-tat movement that makes him jealous of the waiter. (The two really need to grow up and communicate better!) Tessa's addicted and hot dad's dad tied up a little with Hardin ... and Hardin let him go to Seattle without him. Hardin seems to get his sh ** together as he breaks up at his mother's wedding ... ending in the middle of a "continuous!" Broadcast.
This film is a must have, for any Affiliate, promoting any program. If you are a fan, you will love it. Otherwise you may be very critical ... especially if this type of film is not your thing.
There were a few big changes in the film as both Christian Vance and Kimberly were re-played with different characters (in my opinion it was better as I thought Stephen Moyer was as good as Bill Compton in True Blood and I thought the former actor who played Kimberly. Candice King in The Vampire Diaries).
(Last note ... as a Seattle native, I am really disappointed to see such a vague attempt to make it look like it was really recorded here.
If you are a fan of this series you should see it ... would you cure cancer, no, but I still hope that the next film will be better and I will be happy with the changes in the characters. I hope that as they have filmed the next movie at the same time we will not have much time to wait.
